You may have found yourself struggling with painful, difficult or confusing feelings from your past or from an event you have recently encountered, such as a relationship breakdown, loss of security or the loss of a loved one. I provide a safe, confidential and supportive space for you to discuss and explore your thoughts and feelings; to help you adjust or come to terms with issues or changes in your life, and to promote personal awareness and growth.

I understand how daunting it can feel, taking that initial step in reaching out for support. We know that life can be challenging, stress and anxiety are very much a part of life, especially in this current climate of uncertainty. It takes courage to reach out for help, allow me to help you, as it is exactly what I am experienced in doing. Let me first begin by introducing myself to you.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist Counsellor who has over 35 years’ experience of providing helping services to couples, families, young people and the bereaved. I am a counselling member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and I work within the ethical framework, and abide by the code of good practice. Client feedback described me as warm, accepting, non-judgmental, insightful and usefully challenging.
I am also on the BACP and the BAATN Directory of which I am a member.

As an integrative counsellor, I will use the style of counselling which is best suited to your individual need, in exploring present issues and past experiences. These styles can vary between Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Existentialism, and the Psychodynamic approach, within a Person Centred framework.
I run my own private practice and have provide voluntary counselling services through City and East London Bereavement Services, working with individuals of differing genders, sexual orientations, faiths and cultures. I have also volunteered with Place2Be which is a Children and Young Peoples service who provide counselling services and support within schools.
I currently work with the Dedicated to Change Project, providing low cost therapy sessions for individuals who might be having financial challenges.
I offer short term and long term contracts which we can discuss along with your hopes or expectations of counselling during our initial session. Counselling sessions are online/telephone and my prices are on a sliding scale
